1. Who we are

HerShift is a digital education product operated at gethershift.com. When we say “we”, “us”, or “HerShift” in this policy, we mean the individual or entity operating this website and selling products through it. For questions about this policy, contact us at hello@gethershift.com.

2. What information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• → Purchase information. When you buy through Gumroad, Gumroad processes your payment and shares your email address and purchase details with us so we can deliver your product. We do not store your credit card details — Gumroad handles all payment processing.
• → Email address. If you subscribe to the HerShift Journal or submit your email via the site, we store your email address in our Supabase database to send you updates. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• → Usage data. We may collect anonymous analytics data (pages visited, time on site, device type) to understand how the site is used. This data is not linked to your identity.
• → Communications. If you email us, we retain that correspondence to respond to your query.

3. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• → Deliver your purchased digital products
• → Send Journal updates and product news if you have subscribed
• → Respond to support requests and questions
• → Improve the website and understand how visitors use it
• → Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.

4. Legal basis for processing (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, our legal basis for collecting and using your personal information is as follows: for purchase fulfilment, performance of a contract; for Journal emails, your consent (which you may withdraw at any time); for analytics, our legitimate interest in improving the site; for legal compliance, a legal obligation.

5. Data storage and security

Subscriber email addresses are stored in Supabase, which uses industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit. Purchase data is stored and managed by Gumroad under their own privacy policy. We retain your data for as long as necessary to provide our services, or as required by law. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@gethershift.com.

6. Cookies

This site may use essential cookies required for navigation and functionality. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking cookies. If we add analytics in future, we will update this policy and, where required, seek your consent.

7. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

• → Gumroad — payment processing and product delivery. Governed by Gumroad's Privacy Policy.
• → Supabase — database for Journal posts and subscriber emails. Governed by Supabase's Privacy Policy.
• → Vercel — website hosting. Governed by Vercel's Privacy Policy.
• → Cloudinary — image hosting and delivery. Governed by Cloudinary's Privacy Policy.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

9. Children's privacy

HerShift is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, please contact us at hello@gethershift.com and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. For significant changes, we will notify active subscribers by email.

1. Agreement to terms

By accessing gethershift.com or purchasing any HerShift product, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or purchase our products.

2. Digital products — what you receive

HerShift sells digital PDF products delivered via Gumroad. Upon successful purchase you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to download and use the product for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may store it on up to five personal devices.

3. What you may not do

• ✗ Share, resell, redistribute, or gift your purchased files to others
• ✗ Upload the content to file-sharing platforms, torrent sites, or any public location
• ✗ Reproduce substantial portions of the content without written permission
• ✗ Use the content for commercial purposes — teaching, reselling, or incorporating into paid products — without a separate commercial licence
• ✗ Claim authorship of any HerShift content

4. Refund policy

Because HerShift products are digital downloads that are accessible immediately upon purchase, we do not offer refunds as a general policy. However, if you experience a technical issue that prevents you from accessing your purchase, or if the product you received was materially different from what was described, please contact us at hello@gethershift.com within 7 days of purchase and we will resolve it — either by fixing the issue, providing a replacement file, or issuing a refund at our discretion.

HerShift is an educational resource, not medical advice. The content is intended for general informational purposes and does not constitute, and should not be treated as, professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your physician or qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you have read in HerShift. Any results, transformations, or testimonials referenced on this site or in our products represent individual experiences and are not guaranteed. Results vary depending on individual circumstances including health status, starting point, consistency of application, and other factors outside our control. HerShift makes no guarantees about specific outcomes.

7. Intellectual property

All content on gethershift.com and within HerShift products — including text, graphics, images, layout, and design — is the intellectual property of HerShift and is protected by applicable copyright law. Unauthorised reproduction or distribution is prohibited and may result in legal action.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HerShift shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or any HerShift product. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or your purchase shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product in question.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of HerShift products will be resolved in the jurisdiction where the business is registered. If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
